Hermes asked: Hi everybody, my friend had told me about this hotel: I cannot ask him now as he moved, but here is the question.
I was thinking about a Luxury Hotel in Pattaya that is right on the beach and is a full service five star hotel. I think it was Marriott but I am not sure. It has its own grounds with activities etc. It is supposed to have 4 pools, with one exclusively for the kids.
Does anyone have an idea which one it is, or which hotels fit the description. Thanks in advance.

Sam C asked: I am getting ready to start a job as an “Entry Level Engineer” for one of the major U.S. hotel chains, this is at one of their luxury waterfront resort hotels. Can someone who has worked in this capacity please tell me what I can expect as a daily part of my job? What are the most common tasks, what do you do on an average day, and are there any things I can do to prepare myself for starting this new job? Thank you for your help & advice.

Kiwi Collection asked: Some hotels/resorts provide such amazing over-the-to experiences for their guests, while others merely provide a “usual” service.
I’m curious which are your favourite luxury hotels/resorts that you have actually stayed at, and what made it such a memorable stay? Please give me some specifics that really made a difference in your overall experience.
“over-the-to” should be “over-the-top”

Sandie asked: My husband is getting his R & R from Iraq sometime in May and we want to stay in a really nice luxury resort/spa hotel in either Daytona or (my pick) the Keys. Can anyone recommend a good one that you have stayed at?? I’m looking for no more than 300/night. Please only reply if you stayed at the hotel you are recommending or a close friend did. I need to make this great as it will be 8 months apart when I see him!!!

Thanks!
Gregory

jcpelayo asked: (Imaginary project) The hotel is a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright-style mansion. Its ten luxury rooms will sleep up to 26 guests in quiet comfort, and each has a private balcony and large, modern bathroom with built-in tub. All rooms have free Wi-Fi Internet service and we have secure, off-street parking. Continental breakfast included. Our pool is big enough for diving, laps or scuba lessons, and our palm-studded back yard is the center of local activity. Any genious idea to bring guests?
In La Paz, Baja California Sur, México.

Ken Jockstrap asked: Recently, I see the ads for residencial units at luxury hotels, like Ritz or Shangri-la. Is this a fancy condo located in the hotel with hotel-like service? or some sort of vacation rental ?
