Should I ask him to go to a hotel with me?

Monday, March 30th, 2009
Sandy asked:

We are not in a relationship yet, dating now and then but that’s only having lunch or dinner. I know he likes me and I begin to have feelings to him recently, but the problem is that he’s a foreigner in our country and there are big culture differences, I’m an Asian and he’s from Europe.
Now I have a five-star hotel coupon which is a luxury room and breakfast for two. I don’t want to waste it so I ordered a room and planned to go there tomorrow, but I don’t really wanna stay alone. I want to ask him to go with me because I want to spend more time with him, but just feel embarrassing like asking for sex, does everybody feel like that? In fact I’m a virgin and the first sex means much in our culture, so I’m still worried about that.
I want your opinions, thank you so much!

Moving to Las Vegas?

ginnyp82 asked:

I am considering moving to Las Vegas at the beginning of the year and I was wondering what areas are safe and which aren’t. I have heard Summerlin is nice but I have yet to find an apartment in my price range in that area. Does anyone have any suggestions, I don’t need luxury, I just want a place that is relatively safe.

WiseVibes asked:

Three women – one German, one Japanese and a pretty Southern Belle – were sitting naked in the sauna of a luxury hotel. The German and the Japanese women were ignoring the Southern Belle, obviously jealous of her beauty and conscious of their own frumpiness. Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The stocky German woman pressed here forearm and the beeping stopped. The Southern Belle looked at her questioningly so the German woman said to her smugly, “That was my pager. I have a microchip under the skin of my arm.”

A few minutes later, a phone rang. The haughty Japanese woman lifted her palm to her ear. When she finished her call, she looked at the Southern Belle and pompously explained, “That was my cell phone. I have a microchip in my hand.”

At that, the Southern Belle stepped out of the sauna and went to the bathroom. When she returned, she had a piece of toilet paper trailing from her behind. “Will you look at that,” she said mockingly. “I’m getting a FAX!”

What Should I Wear If the Dress Code Is “Smart Casual”?

Friday, March 27th, 2009
? cherie asked:

My family has been invited to this dinner event at a luxury hotel (it frequently accommodates celebrities). I checked the restaurant out (http://www.fourseasons.com/toronto/dinin… and the dress code says “Smart Casual”.

The problem is, I don’t know what to wear. My husband and two kids, boy (age 10) and girl (age 14) have been invited. My husband usually wears only jeans and a simple t-shirt to work, and I usually wear chic and trendy clothes, they’re not business or casual like. My kids, well, they just wear normal casual clothes that you see all the other kids wearing–jeans, t-shirt, capris. We don’t really know what “smart casual” is and would really like some help.

If you have been to these events before, could you please tell us the dress code? I don’t want to wear my normal casual clothes and be prejudiced by the staff (my friend was!). It would be really wonderful if you could give us some pointers or ideas that comply with the dress code. Thanx.
P.S. Does anyone have ideas what my kids and husband should wear too?

Will American’s learn in democracy from the thousands of protesters that closed off Mexico City today?

enlightenment asked:

Launching a campaign of civil disobedience that raises the stakes in Mexico’s political crisis, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s supporters seized control of the capital’s imposing Zocalo square on Sunday night as well as a six-mile (10-km) stretch of the elegant Reforma boulevard.

They set up tents and huge tarpaulin covers in the middle of the wide, tree-lined avenue, cutting off all commuter traffic on Monday morning. The avenue is home to Mexico’s stock market, many luxury hotels, government offices, headquarters of major corporations and the U.S. embassy.

I’m heading to Las Vegas soon and I must choose between the Luxury Suite at the Venetian and the Petite Suite at Treasure Island. I am heading there with my girlfriend and I am aiming to impress her. Which suite do you recommend and why? I am especially interested in comments from those that have stayed in either/both.
