what is the best hotel to stay at in disneyland?
chefbrian67 asked:
as far as having access to the parks and not having to take a lot of trams or monorails, etc. I want to be right in the park in a luxury hotel.

Your only option for staying inside the park is the Grand Californian inside the California Adventure park . There are no hotels in the magic kingdom, but the Disney land hotel is close- you can take the monorail to the park.

I would recommend Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel or the Disneyland Hotel. I’ve never stayed in the Grand Californian, but it’s pretty fancy, so if a luxury hotel is what you want, then that is the hotel for you. However, the Disneyland Hotel (I’ve stayed there) is also very nice, and great if you’re going with family or younger kids. The Grand Californian has a private entrance to California Adventure for their hotel guests (though we were able to use it when we stayed in the Disneyland Hotel).
Neither one is actually in the park (none of the hotels are), but both are located in Downtown Disney, which is just a short walk away from Disneyland’s gate (and if you don’t want to walk, you can take the monorail from Downtown Disney right into Disneyland).

The grand californian hotel is a very nice hotel, plus it has a special enterance into california adventure, which means you don’t need any trams or monorails to get there. This hotel is not inside the park, but some of the rooms overlook the park. If you want the website for the hotel it is.
