I will have a living allowance of 500/mo. from my student loan to help w/ rent, so I’d like to keep it to about 700/mo. rent so I can work part time, go to culinary school and still get by.Help? Being from Michign Vegas is very intreiging to me; Butiful!! luxury low cost rentels, city lights, and much to do. However I have some concearns befor making the move.

First, On Yahoo Answers one participant said that lot of rattle snakes and scorpions made it in his house. I am affraid of being bit in my sleep and dying. Is this a real fear and if so is there anything I can do about it?

Second, I am aware the water is dring out rapidly. I hear that in a while Vegas will either be a ghost town or the cost of water will be verry high. Is this true, when will this happen, how bad will it be?

Finaly, I hear from Yahoo Answers that Vegas is full of low lifes due to the gambeling industry, prostitusion, and strip joints. Can I and my family with kids be seperated from this contamination if I live a mile or so away from the strip and downtown?
And What areas or distance do you sugest I live in?
