Cory M asked: I’m moving in early Jan.07, have a cat, don’t really want roommates, don’t need luxury but would like something safe and clean. I will have a living allowance of 500/mo. from my student loan to help w/ rent, so I’d like to keep it to about 700/mo. rent so I can work part time, go to culinary school and still get by.Help? Suggestions? Ideas? Looked alot online but I don’t know what areas are safe/dangerous, nice/slums, etc… any help greatly appreciated. Thanx!

ginnyp82 asked: I am considering moving to Las Vegas at the beginning of the year and I was wondering what areas are safe and which aren’t. I have heard Summerlin is nice but I have yet to find an apartment in my price range in that area. Does anyone have any suggestions, I don’t need luxury, I just want a place that is relatively safe.

oneguy asked: I’m heading to Las Vegas soon and I must choose between the Luxury Suite at the Venetian and the Petite Suite at Treasure Island. I am heading there with my girlfriend and I am aiming to impress her. Which suite do you recommend and why? I am especially interested in comments from those that have stayed in either/both.

Mazen H asked: I am thinking of moving and opening a business in Las Vegas or Reno Nevada. I will likely have children. I love the plentifully activities, great low cost restaurant joints, affordable luxury apartments and night city lights. Here it is……. I have heard that Vegas has a lot of low life’s and it is not a place to raise children non the less to bring a lady or even myself. I hear you can not seperate yourself from the negetivity and influenced people of gambeling, street prostitusion and alcohole to under age kids. Is Vegas or Reno a decent place to live and bring up children if I do NOT live next to the strip? Secondly…….I ran across one or more obserd coments online that Vegas has little to do if you DON’T like gambeling and strip clubs, true? My third and Final Question about Vegas is that I am a big INDOOR open Basketball geek. Having lived in Michigan INDOOR open B Ball was populare in the winter as well as the hot summers. What about Vegas?

Mazen H asked: PLEASE ONLY OBJECTIVE PERSONS WHO LIVED OR KNOW ONE WHO LIVED IN VEGAS REPLY
Being from Michign Vegas is very intreiging to me; Butiful!! luxury low cost rentels, city lights, and much to do. However I have some concearns befor making the move.
First, On Yahoo Answers one participant said that lot of rattle snakes and scorpions made it in his house. I am affraid of being bit in my sleep and dying. Is this a real fear and if so is there anything I can do about it?
Second, I am aware the water is dring out rapidly. I hear that in a while Vegas will either be a ghost town or the cost of water will be verry high. Is this true, when will this happen, how bad will it be?
Finaly, I hear from Yahoo Answers that Vegas is full of low lifes due to the gambeling industry, prostitusion, and strip joints. Can I and my family with kids be seperated from this contamination if I live a mile or so away from the strip and downtown?
And What areas or distance do you sugest I live in?
