If you like the idea of a pale blue, then choose a pale blue that matches well with your room. Depending on the light exposure in your room, you may need to choose a warmer or cooler based blue. What he used on the show, may not turn out well in your room, based on the lighting.
Paint chips in your local store (if of a good brand like Benjamin Moore) will tell you on the back if it is a warm or cool shade of the color you choose.</description>
