¿How much money i should bring for go to egypt in dollars , without the cost of the air flight ?

i’ am thinking in go to egypt in few months and i wanna know how much money in dollars i should bring with me . i know some egyptians said that 1 $ = 5.5 egyptians not constantly but just near…and lets say that i wanna stay like 5 or 4 days and stay in a very normal hotel nothing about luxury , and just go to pay the bus and taxis for go to mall but nothing very big . just i wanna know how much for pay the hotel and food i should spence in those days and per day too ? thanks …notice it that is only me without any partner.

   if you are going to stay in cairo it will be 1000 $ very good for spending and normal hotel

   average hotels in Egypt are not like the states u will at least want ot stay in a 4* hotel. to be comfortable there.
   i think the average per night for that is around 70 or 80$ depending on the season and the demand at the time.
   if u want to go to any of the touristic place
   the museum the pyramids cost around 20$ to enter.
   food:
   MacDonald cost around 20 pounds which is around 5$.
   also depending on the place u go to it can get very expensive.
   but if u just want to eat average then maybe it will cost u 10-15$ a day for food
   transportation will be very hard to tell u cause it will really have to be up to the taxi and where u stay
   so the calculation would be
   (5nights * 80)+(15*5)food= 475$
   so maybe take 800 to 100 for your stay
