Dont know about luxury but, I did a scuba diving course in Thailand, Kotoh(dont know if you spell it that way) me and my dad and brother did our course on the island at the Padi centre, its quite beautiful the small island and all the little bars along the shore, plus the padi dive school give you free accomadation, you should go stay at the tropicana resort there. Its really cheap

An island by koh samui they have so many diving resorts there and have so many diving resorts there that its an amazing deal went to ask you really want to get your.
The ferry over there and have blast.
