Luxury Vs Mid range services differ in many ways but what most people will pay for and want in a luxury hotel is the service they receive. Luxury hotels will have 24 hour services like that of a concierge and room service that mid range hotels typically will not have. Guests who want a luxury hotel needs to be reassured of the service he will get for paying the extra $$. The 24hour concierge is there to service every need of the guest and there is never no for an answer even at 3am in the morning. for example… they would have stock of most general computer cell phone chargers for guest use, umbrellas for rain and ability to get guests into the most posh restaurants even if its with short notice on a Sat night.
Showing them around helps but a building a dead. High thread count sheets and nice furniture definitely makes it somewhat luxurious but it only goes so far.
