Does anyone know of any luxury hotels in savannah, ga or hilton head, sc area?

It might also help if they’re not too expensive and if they’re near the historic district. My husband is home from Iraq and we found a weekend babysitter, so we’re really trying to find some place to relax and just enjoy each other.

I stayed at the Double Tree Hotel located at 411 West Bay Street in Savannah. Very nice hotel!!! Staff sucked big time. And the valet were even worse. When I first arrived I gave the valet my keys and went to my room; I returned to my truck 20 minutes later and the valet couldn’t find the keys. Well, after about 10 minutes of searching, he remembered that he left my $35, 000 truck sitting in the exit of the lot with the window rolled down and the keys in it, UNLOCKED!#$&^%&%^$^%!
I was furious. Also, behind the hotel is Franklin Square, a lot of homeless drunks hang out there. It is disgusting! I would suggest looking into a Holiday Inn. because the Double Tree is awful and too pricey.
