try click on “book travel” then hotels, they are rated by stars, more stars, better hotels. if yoy bundle your flight and hotel you can save alot of cash, try it, its free, easy and dosent cost anything to look/check prices.

the grand wailea in nice and also the hyatt, they both have killer pools. The grand is the best, probably expensive but amazing. hope this helped!

I like goanywhere.org because they have vacation guides. Go to the site and click on “find your destination now” then look for usa, click it, than click hawaii. There you can choose from all the islands and read a bio on them to determine which fits you best.

or, if you already know what island, you can use there hotel search to locate your hotel. the 5star hotels will be at the top.

    Good Luck, and Have fun!!!

Which island(s) are you going to? The Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu and The Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island are both huge complexes with plenty of swimming pools and are practically theme parks in themselves. The kids would love it I think. If you’re on Waikiki the waves are a bit iffy and it’s hit or miss whether you’ll get good ones or not. I had better luck on the Big Island at Hapuna Beach.

It begins and ends with the Westin Maui in Kaanapali!!! It is absolutely perfect for a family with teenagers. The lobby and grounds are tropical, beautiful, and relaxing. The pools are amazing and great for hanging out or swimming. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious, and most have really good views. It is right on the beach, and just a short walk on a beachside path from the Whalers Shopping Center, which has lots of stores and restaurants. Basically, it is so close to anything anyone would want to do that you don’t need to worry about having a plan for the day or trying to satisfy everyone.

Also, it is super close to the Skyline Eco-Adventure tours– ziplines!!!! I did it with my family and it was the most wonderful experience ever!

As a 17 year old who has stayed at the Westin Maui twice and loved it both times, I am begging you to check it out. You will have a great time!!

i live on oahu. about 90% of the hotels in honolulu/waikiki are luxury hotels.
you actually have to look kind of hard for a crappy fleabag hotel, so if you just google it, you’ll find more than you can handle. most of the hotels are on the water/within walking distance. if you’re traveling in the winter, the water will be fine for boogie boarding.
