Grand Hyatt without any doubt, will fullfill your kind of need. But there’s also many other hotels in Nusa Dua area that could fullfill your kind of need.

You could do shopping and find restaurant in Nusa Dua too (like those restaurants on Pantai Mengiat Street). But the prize is more expensive than in Kuta, especially for the shopping.

PS : The beach in Nusa Dua are far more clean and safer than Kuta area.

You want good shopping ? Go to Sukawati Art Market in Gianyar Regency (about 1 hour from Nusa Dua). The stuff are good and the price are very cheap.

But the real Bali, you’ll find in Ubud (Gianyar Regency). There’s no beach there, but you could experience river swimming, ha ha… For quiet rooms, no hustle and great pool you’ll definitely will find in Ubud Area. My favorite place, without any doubt, is Hotel Pitamaha 2. A great place for peacefulness.

Depends what you’re looking for. To me Nusa Dua looks like a tourists reservation.

Behind gates, in large hotels, albeit very luxurious but not really balinese. They could be located anywhere in the world.

The beach is safer to swim than kuta or legian / seminyak might be (currents).

If you want to experience Bali, go to Legian or better Ubud… another choice for a great (amazing) pool is the Hard Rock Hotel in Kuta.

So at the end of the day it depends what your looking for. So many hotels, so many choices…. you’re lucky to go to Bali.

I’d take the Hyatt, because the Kuta/Legian region’s just full of crap and tourists. You may find something more tranquil.

Grand Hyatt is more Luxurious IMO

I have not stayed in both hotels before. When i was in Nusa DUa, i stayed in Westin Hotel. It was awesome. I really love it … Why dont u give it some thought

Boy oh boy.. I love nusa dua grand hyatt bali a million times.. Stayed there many times and the view of the sea always takes my breath away. The room were amazing.

Get a car with a driver to drive u to shop around town. Really cheap.
