An Embassy Suites is an upper grade hotel. It's not totally high end like a Ritz or Four Seasons, but it's not a Comfort Inn either. It's what I would call above-average, certainly not budget

They are very nice hotels with loads of amenities. Large spacious rooms, inside corridors, nicely decorated, pillow top mattresses, usually have a pool and exercise room. But the really cool thing is each evening they have a cocktail time with appetizers and snacks. Then on weekends (when we go) they have a full hot buffet breakfast (don't know about through the week). That really adds up when you have a family to feed. So the cost of the room is offset by the other things they offer.

It will depend on what location you're staying. We stay at the one in Philly and it is around $150 per night.
