Luxury hotel in either Daytona or the Keys, FL?

Can anyone recommend a good one that you have stayed at?? I’m looking for no more than 300/night. Please only reply if you stayed at the hotel you are recommending or a close friend did. I need to make this great as it will be 8 months apart when I see him!!!

The only 4 star hotel in Daytona is The Shores. It’s on the ocean and the views are great. You are on the main street with all the other hotels and condos on the ocean. You are next door to the tallest condo which has a resturant called the Top of Daytona which is a circle glassed resturant overlooking the beach. The price of the rooms are below your maxium. Just make sure you don’t go when it’s spring break or a motor sport week when they do jack up the prices.

I stayed at the Hyatt Key West last year. It was very nice. Rented bikes to see “old” Key West. Took a jet ski tour, went snorkeling, had a great time.
I live in Central Florida, and although I like Daytona Beach, the water in the Keys is sooooooo much nicer. (Clear, blue, warm…)

Perfect Escapes lists a number of luxury hotels and hotel offers in Florida, including the Florida Keys. Maybe that will help you.
