Would you stay in a hotel that used to be a jail?

luxury hotel
Amanda I asked:

Today a luxury hotel opens in Boston that was a jail for over a hundred years. The rooms go for $350 + per night. There are still decorative bars up and floor tiles to where jail cells used to be. The whole thing is a little creepy for my taste. I was wondering what other people think.

Yes I would. I think that would be great.
I would spend the night in a cell at Alcatraz if I could.

Staying at a hotel that charges $350/night is creepy enough. Being that it’s a former jail only makes it a tourist attraction and/or a place to be to get in the news. Some people go for the “twisted” way of being and staying in a former jail cell is twisted enough. Maybe Brittni Spears needs to stay there and get a taste of being around metal bars for a while…she might straighten up. MIGHT!

its funny u should say that because in england about 170 miles from where i live there is a b&b thing and that used to be a jail once. there was still scratches of initials that had been engraved by prisoners in some beams of wood but it wasnt that creepy.
