You didn't mention when you wanted to check in. Luxury is subjective(different tastes for different people), but if the Oakland/Emeryville, CA area is where you want to be, then I have several recommendations for you(I am Owner of a Travel Agency and these picks are based on my actually staying at these establishments):

1- Waterfront Plaza Hotel, Oakland. Posh, smallish Hotel; however, very plush, w/fireplaces, balconies and a decent view(no view of the Interstate thankfully). Jack's Bistro is nearby; they have very good food. I can get you an unpublished rate of $149/night.

2- Harbor Court Hotel, Emeryville. This is a European-style "boutique" hotel. Great views of SF Bay and the Bay Bridge. You get tons of amenities(terry cloth robes, iron & ironing board, complimentary health club, sauna, jacuzzi, Olympic size swimming pool, FREE limo service to the Financial District on weekdays). The rooms are plush, tastefully appointed w/plush chairs and half-canopied beds with a sage/gold color scheme thoughout. Their unpublished rate is $179/night. Very nice Hotel for the price.

These are unpublished rates(meaning the Hotels' websites will charge higher). These 2 Hotels should fit your criteria. If you have other questions, contact me.
